Senare bodde han i kv. Latona på Västerlånggatan. Ett porträtt av honom, utfört av konstnären J.F. von Breda, finns (Sv. Porträttarkiv 1925:680). Han uppges ligga begravd i Storkyrkan i Stockholm.
