Lady Caroline Scott was born on 6 July 1774 at London, England. She was the daughter of Henry Scott, 3rd Duke of Buccleuch and Lady Elizabeth Montagu.1 She married Charles Douglas, 6th Marquess of Queensberry, son of Sir William Douglas, 4th Bt. and Grace Johnstone, on 13 August 1803 at Richmond, London, England.1 She died on 29 April 1854 at age 79 at Bute House, Petersham, Surrey, England.1
     Her married name became Douglas.
