Daughter of Edwin Alonzo Tillotson and Sarah Marley

Caroline Sarah Pehrson, 69, of 1125 North Arthur, died Thursday in St. Anthony hospital following an illness.

Mrs. Pehrson was born Dec. 21, 1896 in Virginia, Idaho, a daughter of Edwin A. and Sarah Marley Tillotson.

She married Nels H. Pehrson July 3, 1919 in the Salt Lake City LDS temple. She and her husband moved to Pocatello where they made their home.

She was active in the Relief Society in the Tenth Ward, LDS Church and enjoyed flowers, sewing, and the out-of-doors.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Grant, Pocatello, and Ralph, Salmon; a daughter Mrs. William (Darlene) Gibbs, Pocatello; three brothers, Edwin W., Walter M. and Harry Tillotson, Pocatello; three sisters, Mrs. Joe (Emma) Bullock, Pocatello; Mrs. Zella Toler, Idaho Falls; and Mrs. Noble (Zina) Butt, Galesburg, Ill.; and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m.in the LDS Tenth Ward Chapel, Arthur and Carson, with Bishop Bud Hinckley officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday evening at the Manning Funeral Chapel, from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m.

Burial will be in Mountainview Cemetery.
