About Caroline C Sieges

Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Caroline C. Sieges at Immaculate Conception Church on Friday, July 27, by Rev. Raymond Schuermann. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Sieges, the daughter of Frederick and Matilda Gruss Hoelscher, was born at Neier on January 7, 1889 and died at St. Francis Hospital in Washington on Wednesday, July 25.

She attended St. Joseph School at Neier, later going to St. Louis where she was married to Cornelius Sieges on April 30, 1912. They lived for a while in St. Louis but for the past 34 years have made their home in Union.

Surviving are her husband and six children: Mrs. Clarence Hillermann, Washington; Mrs. Berniece Lenau, Union; Miss Irene Sieges, St. Louis; Walter Sieges, St. Louis; Raymond Sieges, Tulsa; and Robert, Farmington, MO; one sister, Mrs. Emma Meyer, Washington; one brother William Hoelscher, Union; and nine grandchildren.
