4. Caryl Hawarden, born in 1677, ordained Priest at

L)ouai College in 1706, and after teaching philosophy came to the EngUsh Mission in 1707. VL John Hawarden, of the Lower House in Appleton,^^ aged four in 1665, married before April 1693, Catherine, daughter of Bryan Lea, of Sutton, by Eleanor, daughter of William Holland, of Sutton Hall, and his wife Margaret, daughter gn-^ heiress of Henry Myleson, of Mj'kso:. House in Sutton. He died at Sutton about 1715.^° She registered, as his \\-idow, her estate as a Catholic Nonjuror 16 April 1717 and died 8 April 1718. They had issue : —
