"Mathias Kalthoff, Peter's brother, joined him in Copenhagen and also made those ingenious magazine firearms, while Peter subsequently received a monopoly to make them in France. Another Kalthoff, Caspar, went to London ca. 1650 and and was later joined by his son of the same name.
