About Catharina Maria Bronkhorst
CAUTION: She was NOT married to JD Waldhardt - for the one that was, see Catharina Maria Waldhardt, b6c7d3e2
This Catharina de Beer was the 2nd wife of Johannes Jacob Bronkhorst (it was her 1st marriage). Reference the names of her Bronkhorst children and the names of her parents. In addition the "De Beer manuskrip" (the official record of the De Beer family) shows her as married to Bronkhorst. (ref. 7506 on p.645)
Could she also marry Waldhardt? Highly unlikely: (i) There was very little time for a 1st marriage before 1814; (ii) the probate of the wife of Waldhardt shows that she died in 1829 and was still married to Waldhardt; and (iii) this Catharina, married to Bronkhorst, still had Bronkhorst children beyond the death of the one married to Waldhardt.
