About Catharina Elisabetha Walborn
Catharina Batdorf Walborn was the daughter of Johannes Peter Batdorf and Anna Maria Anspach. After her father died in the Palatines' encampment outside London, her mother embarked for America with her five children, three of whom died enroute leaving only their mother, Catharina and her brother, Martin, as sole survivors of the Batdorf Family to reach America at that time. She was the wife of Rev. Christian Wilhelm Walborn who is interred in the same cemetery. She is the mother of Martinus Walborn, Sr., a Revolutionary War veteran interred in the same cemetery.
