About Catherine "Caty" Winnie Ingle
Had an affair with Andrew Jackson--the results being an illegitimate son. Andrew Jackson was the illegitimate son of Andrew Jackson and Catherine Poore. Peter Ingle was a good friend of Andrew Jackson. He agreed to take Andrew and raise him as his own. Sometime around 1848, Andrew decided to have his name legally changed to Andrew Jackson Ingle.
