DALE--At the residence of her daughter, in Tipton, on Monday, Dec. 24th, 1883, Mrs. Catherine Dale, aged ninety years.

 Deceased is another of the rapidly decreasing band of pioneer settlers of Cedar County, having come here in 1839. She was born in Union co., Pa., removing thence to Ohio in 1828. Her death probably removes the oldest person in the County, certainly in this community. She was a good christian woman and died in peace after a long and useful life. The funeral took place yesterday, the remains being interred at Rochester cemetery with those of other members of the family.
