Mrs. Catherine Kane Davis, 54, wife of Charles Davis, 149 N. Church St., Clifton Heights, died at Media Hospital Sunday afternoon, shortly after being involved in an automobile collision at Manchester Rd. and Jefferson St., Media. Mrs. Davis was a lifelong resident of Clifton Heights. She was a member of St. Charles Church, Oakview, and a charter member of the Altar and Rosary Society of Holy Cross church, Clifton Heights. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Charles Jr.; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Green, of Brookhaven; two brothers, John and William Kane; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Volper, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Regina Geiger, of Clifton Heights, and Mrs. Elsie Wade, of Philadelphia, and one grandson. The funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:30 a.m., from the home of her niece, Mrs. Joseph Austin, 30 Sycamore Av., Aldan. Solemn requiem mass will be sung at St. Charles Church at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening.
