KANE William L Kane, 74, a school crossing guard at Our Lady of Fatima School, Secane, died Wednesday in Clifton Heights. He lived at 316 Amosland Road, Holmes. Mr. Kane was a retired employee from the Philadelphia Transportation Co. and for the last nine years had been a school crossing guard. He is survived by his widow, the former Madeline Grover; a daughter, Patricia Ann at home; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Volper of Darby, Mrs. Elsie Wade of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Regina Geiger of Clifton Heights. The funeral will be 9 a.m. Monday at his home. Solemn requiem mass will be sung at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Morton. Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Broomall. Calling hours will be Sunday evening at his residence.
