6 November 1540: (Copy) feu charter by Patrick, bishop of Moray and commendator of Scone, to James Innes of Rothnakingye and Katharine Gordoun (Gordon), his spouse, in conjunct fee, of the lands of Fynrasie occupied by Elizabeth Troup, relict of the deceased Duncan Suthirland (Sutherland), in the barony and regality of Spynie and sheriffdom of Elgin, reserving the Bischope-moss or Laverokis-moss, for a yearly payment of 10 merks and certain victual. Dated at the cathedral of Elgin. Witnesses: Mr. John Douglas, vicar of Glastoun, Mr. Hugh Cragye (Craigie), chaplain of the cathedral of Elgin, and sir Thomas Hay, vicar of Duffous.
