William Gordon died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England, killed in action.1

He was the son of George Gordon, 2nd Earl of Huntly and Lady Elizabeth Hay.1 He was ancestor of the Gordons of Gight.1 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.1

He had the lands of Aboyne and he exchanged these with his brother Adam for the lands of Gight.
