Catherine Jones

Not the same as Catherine "Caty" Glaze

These two Catherine Collins were not the same women. "There is a will for Catherine Collins Glaze from Benjamin Glaze (Dec. 9, 1781) and a will made out from Ambrose Jones to Catharine Collins Jones (Will dated 3 January 1792.) They had a will made out. You can find their will online now. It is in Granville County Court house in North Carolina.

Catherine Collins (d/o Joseph and Susannah Lewis Collins) married Benjamin Glaze. She would have been having children with Benjamin Glaze at the same time she was having children with Ambrose Jones. Also Susannah Lewis only married Joseph Lewis. The James Lewis, which most folks show as Susannah's husband, appears to be fictitious to establish a line to the Famous Lewis family. [2] [1]
