I have now the happiness to inform you that our Beloved Kate is married to John Carlisle, and in a much more agreeable manner than marriages are usually celebrated in this Country, thanks to our excellent and amiable Friends Major and Mrs Dundas, who insisted on the Ceremony being performed at their House and arranged everything accordingly ....... "
