About Catherine "Caterina" Rhoads

Catharine was the wife of Henry Rhoads. After immigrating to Pennsylvania from Germany around 1737, she raised a large family with Henry, moving first to Maryland in the 1740's, and then to modern-day Somerset County, Pennsylvania in the early 1760's. She outlived Henry, who died in 1774, probably by only a year or so; she is thought to have been buried in the Rhoads Cemetery. She was a member of the Seventh Day German Baptists (Dunkards).* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Aug 3 2020, 22:11:11 UTC
