KATHERINE SCHICHTEL, 81, PASSES UNEXPECTEDLY

Mrs. Katherine Schichtel, 81, resident of Grand Rapids 30 years, died unexpectedly early Tuesday at the home of her son, Herman, 612 Lincoln-av., NW. She was a native of North Dorr and the widow of John Schichtel.

Mrs. Schichtel was a member of the Altar society and PTA of St. Mary's church and the Ladies Arbeiter society of North Dorr.

Surviving are four sons, John, Edward and Herman of Grand Rapids and Reynold of Mt. Clemens; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Erler of Reed City and Mrs. Jacob Weidenfeller of North Dorr; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery. The body is at the home.
