Francis Joseph (1857), Catherine (1864) and Arthur Ernest (1862). In 1871 the family had a tutor, a governess a housemaid and a cook, and back in 1861, an aunt called Martha Bradley (b Leeds 1804), a proprietor of houses was also living with the family. I went back to 1841 to see what Joseph Servant was doing back then, and he himself appears to have been a tutor, to the family of William Osburn, a wine merchant (same profession at that time as Osmond who was married to Hannah unknown). <p>Between 4th November, 1871 and 12th March, 1873 Joseph Servant changed his own and his whole families surname to Salter. The reason for this isbecuse they were Persecution of the French Huguenots .</p>
