  • .... Chalons’s wife died in 1437, but he himself survived until 6 Feb. 1445, then leaving as his heir his grandson John. When the latter died two years later, the Chalons lands passed to Sir Robert’s two grand daughters, the children of Katherine St. Aubyn.7
