Catherine married Tobias Tillman in 1776 in Knox County, Tennessee, son of John Tillman and Eva Dryden. Tobias was born on 15 Jun 1751 in Orange County, North Carolina and died on 6 Feb 1845 in Lewisburg, Preble County, Ohio at age 93.

Tobias Tillman was listed as a taxpayer in Botetourt County, Virginia, 1782-1787. About March 1803 he bought 197 acres of land in Anderson County, Tennessee. Tobias and his wife Catherine with their children settled on Swamp Creek in Preble County, Ohio in 1805 (although William Carroll Graves said he moved to Ohio about 1810-1820) He was a Rev. War soldier, and was drafted into the War of 1812 but sent a substitute.

She married Tobias Tillman (or Tilman or Tilghman) about 1777 or 1778 in Botetourt, VA. He was born 5 June 1751 in Orange Co., NC, and died 6 Feb. 1845 in Lewisburg, Preble Co., OH.
