Olof Nilsson left Sweden with his wife only. In America he adopted the surname Gästenberg. When issued a patent by the Dutch in 1662, he was a resident of Marcus Hook. In 1675 he moved with his family to Tacony. He died there in 1692, survived by two sons (Nils and Eric) and three daughters (Christina, Maria and Brita). His widow Cecelia, born in Örebro, Sweden, was buried in 1703.
