Born on September 11, 1776 in St. Michel, Bellechasse, Quebec, Canada. Married Ignace Carrier (Carie) on Novenber 23, 1795 in Beaumont, Bellechasse, Quebec, Canada. Had eleven children JEAN BAPTISTE born in 1796; Ignace. 1798-1808; Charles, 1800-1883; Joseph, 1801-1860; Antoine 1803-1804; Antoine 1805-1808; Cecile 1807-1888; unnamed daughter, 1808-1808; Marie Josephte, 1810-1810; Michel 1813-1872; and Hubert, 1817-1876. All children were born in Lauzon (St. Joseph de Levis), Levis, Quebec, Canada. Died in St. Jean Chrysostome, Levis, Quebec, Canada on August 8, 1846.

1.There are infinite spelling variations of Cecile's surname. Two examples, in her Baptism record her surname was spelled Feuilto and in her Burial record her surname was spelled Feuilleteau. The most common accepted surname spelling is Filteau.

2..Cecile's parents were Jean Baptiste Filteau and Marguerite Guay. They were married on October 6, 1760 in Beaumont.
