Chaim Myzskowsky

Update: We just deciphered his matzevah in the Przerosl Jewish Cemetery (August 21, 2019).

... And upright our father, our master was our teacher our rabbi Chaim son of our teacher Yehuda He passed away on the 17th of Sivan 5612

(June 4, 1852)

Top of matzevah was broken.

We’ve downloaded and attached his death certificate which gives his parents as Judko (Yehuda) and Chaia. The mother’s name is different, so perhaps she was Devora Chaya?

Neil Rosenstein gives his birthdate as 1784. He married first Esther, with whom he had the daughter Shayna Bayla who married Asher Margolis, son of Judah Leib Margols who was married to Chaim's sister, Badana Myzskowsky Margolis.

He next married next Friedel with whom he had the daughter Rivke (b. 1836) who in 1857 married Abram Leib Abramsky, the father of Nissan Abramsky (husband of Asher Margolis' niece Rachel Leah Bryman).
