Biography

Research note. I can find no birth record for Charity in England anywhere (used Findmypast.co.uk). But surely if her mother Priscilla Allen married her father in the U.S. in 1646 their children would have been born there?

On 12 Feb 1689, Robert Millard and Charity Thurber were married in Rehoboth in what is now Massachusetts.[1]

Both Charity and Robert were named in the 1704 will of her father John Thurber -- five pounds were to go to Charity, and Robert Millard was named a co-executor.

Charity married second John Wood in 1712 at Swansea.[2]

Charity passed away in 1747 and is buried at Kickemuit Cemetery in Warren, Rhode Island. Here gravestone was engraved[3][4]
