Peter Green married Charity Tucker on 4 Nov 1712 in Marblehead, Essex, Massachusetts. They had five sons all recorded in Marblehead:
John Green 1718 – 1748
William Will Green 1719 –
Peter Green Jr 1721 – 1803
Aaron Green 1723 –
Philip Green 1727 –
Peter Green was shot by John Richardson at Sea while working as crew off of Marblehead. He died after five hours. Per:
Date: Sunday, October 31, 1728 Paper: Boston News-Letter (Boston, Massachusetts) Issue: 96 Page: 2
After his death his widow married David Roach (born 1694 Ireland). David Rouch was a runaway Irish Slave belonging to Captain James Woodside Fort Frederick of Permaquid. Note Captain James Woodside was the son of Reverend Joames Woodside (First Dunboe Presbyterian Church in Articlave) who came from Derry County in Ireland to Brunwick, Maine who reported to the Crown on the conditon of the colony in Maine comprising Irish shipped to Maine and impressed into service. David ran away with another 23 year old slave named John Kennely who was a shoe maker. David Roach is said to have spoken broken English and Latin. They married on 1 Oct 1730 in Marblehead. An advertisement was posted for his capture in 1734 and 1735 when he must have been caught. But not before they had three children:
David Roach 1731 –
John Roach 1732 – 1816
Charity Roach 1734 –
I have found no death record of Charity. She may have remarried.
