About Charity Wright
Comments
If this marriage date is correct, and Rachel Well's birth took place a year earlier, it is possible that Rachel's mother is not Margaret as stated in most sources. (C-866)
Joseph had a certificate to Wateree M.M. SC in 1762, probably from the Cane Creek MM and ROCG to Bush River, SC in 1776. He was disowned for reasons unknown on 1774,8,27 by Bush River MM. His wife is said to have been Charity Wells, but if this is true he would have married his Step-Aunt. (C-628,646,724)
