Obituary C. A. LAWRENCE PASSED AWAY - Well Known Stillwater Farmer Dies at Reno Hospital; Funeral Sunday.
Charles A. Lawrence, well known Stillwater farmer, passed away at a Reno Hospital last Wednesday night, following a prolonged illness. He was a native of Illinois, aged 59 years, the son of Theodore C. Lawrence and Mary E. Dunbar. When a young man he came west and for the past 25 years had been engaged in farming in the Stillwater district. He was a successful farmer, a good, peaceable citizen, and a man highly respected by those of his acquaintance.
Besides the sorrowing widow, Mrs. Eva M. Lawrence, and son, Dale, he leaves a sister, Mrs. J. A. Fivecoats, residing in Denver, who wired that she would be in Fallon this evening. It is announced that the funeral will be held from Guild Hall at two o'clock Sunday afternoon, Rev. S. C. Thomas officiating.
