About Charles "Robert" Bowling
A funeral for Robert C. Bowling will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel in Vancouver, Wash.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vancouver.
Mr. Bowling died of causes related to age Tuesday in a Portland nursing home. He was 76.
Born Feb. 27, 1916, in Sioux City, Iowa, Mr. Bowling was a logger in the White Salmon, Wash., area for several years. He had lived in Portland since 1975. He previously had lived in Vancouver from 1955 to 1975.
His wife, Bevie A., died in 1986.
Survivors include his stepdaughter, Thelma Moen of Wilsonville.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the Disabled American Veterans. Oregonian, Friday, January 1, 1993
