About Charles Jordan Brooks, Sr.
My Father for all of his adult life ran Dal-Tex Waste Material. They bought newspaper and rags and sent them overseas to be recycled. Sometimes they got other stuff. Once they got a bunch of wrapping paper and ribbon, so we didn't need to buy that for a long time. Another time it was books. I never knew what he would bring home!
He also bought newspapers from the Boy Scouts for their money-making paper drives. He would stand on the scales so it would weigh more and they would receive more money. He was a good man.
