About Charles Ormond Eyre
Charles Ormond Eyre was born, and privately baptised, in Dec 1856 at St Vincent (West Indies).
On 13 June 1861 he was "received into the congregation" at St Mary, Charlbury, Oxfordshire - at the same time as his brother Henry Eyre.

CHARLES ORMOND EYRE
Son of Edward John Eyre and Adelaide Ormond, born 1856 St. Vincent West Indies. He arrived in Fiji on June 24, 1875 aboard the 'Pearl' with Sir Arthur Gordon as Secretary to the Lands Commission. Charles married Silovati Ranadi-Ni-Ceva.
