21/07/1944 Family Halkin - Solomon, Charles and Adele born Hazenpouth are arrested Jews on July 21, 1944 in Saint-Amand-Montrond by the militia in retaliation for the execution of Philippe Henriot on June 28, 1944.
They will be transported at Bordiot prison in Bourges. On 24, 26 July and 8 August 1944, thirty-six people are transported by the Gestapo and Militia to Savigny-en-Septaine, including Charles and Salomon Halkin who will be martyred and thrown into one of the two wells of the Guerry farm.
