EDINGTON - Charles L. Edington, 81, Solsberry, died Wednesday March 24, at the Bloomington Hospital. Born Nov. 7, 1917, in Greene County, he was the son of Noah Sr. and Minnie Ellen (Emery) Edington. He was a retired electrician and the manager of the Electrical Division at NAD Crane. He was a member of the Greene County Chapel United Methodist Church, Solsberry Masonic Lodge, Solsberry American Legion, Coshocton County Chapter Ohio Genealogical Society, Monroe County Genealogical Society, Monroe County Historical Socoiety. He was leader of Boy Scout Troop #5 at the Untied Presbyterian Church in Bloomington for 10 years. Survivors include he wife, Agnes E. (Gavin) Edington; two sons, Thomas P. Edington of Solsberry and Johm M. Edington of Ingalls; one daughter, Mary Ann Edington of Bloomington; three brothers, Elmer Edington of New Mexico, Earl Kenneth Edington of Columbus and Noah T. Edington Jr. of Bloomington; three grandchildrenn and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Eva FIgg and one granddaughter, Caitlin Lee Edington. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 27, at the Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel in Bloomington with the Revs. Dan Richwine and Hurschell Joslin officiating. Burial was in the Valhalla Memory Gardens where the Solsberry American Legion conducted military graveside rites. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Greene County Chapel United Methodist Church."
