Charles Daniel Lucas was born February 16, 1747, in Prince George's county, Maryland, the son of Thomas Lucas and Anne (King) Lucas. His birth is listed in the The Swan-Hughes Bible with the children of Thomas and Anne (Keene) Lucas: [1]

He died in 1784.

He married Susannah? b: 1750.

In the 1776 Frederick Co, MD census, their children are listed as:

• Jermina b: 1773,
• Richard b: 1774,

• Mary b: 1776.
