Charles Parker

Charles Parker was the protege of Sir Roger 5th Baronet Newdigate (his mother's cousin).

He was groomed to become heir of Arbury as a consequence of Sir Roger not having had any children of his own, but predeceased Sir Roger in 1795.

At the time of Sir Roger's death in 1806, Charles's son (Charles Newdigate Parker Newdegate) was still an infant so life rights to Arbury were granted to Charles's older brother Francis. By the time Francis died in 1835 Charles's son was also deceased so Arbury was inherited by Charles's grandson Charles Newdigate Newdegate.
