About Charles Scoville
Charles was engaged in several fierce battles of the Civil War, including 2nd Bull Run, Antietam, and Fredericksburg. He served with the 26th New York Volunteer Infantry, whose hardships are chronicled in the book "Glory Was Not Their Companion."
