Charlotte Laura Page, 62, of Duluth and Rural Minn. passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 30, 2007 in her home in Duluth. She was born in Minneapolis, Minn. in 1945 to Warren and Elizabeth (Sandall) Page. She attended Columbia Heights High School, and went on to receive her G.E.D.. In 1972, she moved to Los Angeles, Calif. returning to Minnesota in the early 1980's. At that time she met Dennis Stanke who has been a companion for the past 20 years. Char loved family, especially the young nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Throughout her relationship with Denny, Char helped in raising his children. Char also loved her Sheltie dogs like her own children. She enjoyed travel and sailing as well. Char is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Glen Page (2002) Survivors include her sister, Lynn (James) Freeman of Duluth and Brother, Martin (Janet) Page of Litchfield, Minn.; sister-in-law, Claudia Page of Clear Lake, Minn.; eight nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; and her companion, Denny Stanke of Sauk Centre, Minn. Memorials are preferred to Animal Allies or the American Cancer Society. VISITATION:12 Noon until the 1 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday, April 4, 2007 in Chester Park United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery.
