  • ' Lady Charlotte Seymour was born on 21 September 1730.1 She was the daughter of Charles Seymour, 6th Duke of Somerset and Lady Charlotte Finch.1 She married Heneage Finch, 3rd Earl of Aylesford, son of Heneage Finch, 2nd Earl of Aylesford and Mary Fisher, on 6 October 1750 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England, with a fortune of £50,000.1 She died on 15 February 1805 at age 74 at Aylesford, Kent, England.1 She was buried at Packington, Warwickshire, England.1

  • 'Heneage Finch, 3rd Earl of Aylesford (6 November 1715 – 9 May 1777), styled Lord Guernsey between 1719 and 1757, was a British peer and politician.
  • 'Finch was the son of Heneage Finch, 2nd Earl of Aylesford, and Mary, daughter of Sir Clement Fisher, 3rd Baronet. He was educated at University College, Oxford.[1]
  • As Lord Guernsey, he sat as Member of Parliament for Leicestershire from 1739 to 1741[1][2] and for Maidstone from 1741 to 1747 and again from 1754 to 1757.[1][3] The latter year he succeeded his father in the earldom and entered the House of Lords.
  • 'Lord Aylesford married Lady Charlotte, daughter of Charles Seymour, 6th Duke of Somerset, in 1750. She was reputed to be worth £50,000. They had twelve children:
