Note: Request for BMD index recorded for Penzance on vol 9 page 187 for the June quarter resulted in a certified birth certificate with No. 277. The registration date (9 Apr) determines the quarter for the index, whereas the actual birth was 29 Mar. Apparently, the earlier date recorded as her birth date must have been her baptism date (22 Apr); many other WikiTree family tree sites also show it as 22 Apr 1840 too. Also, her father Noah James was identified as a Farmer in 1840, whereas later when she was married in 1862 he was an InnKeeper then.

The birth date was updated based on GRO certified birth certificate, and also added Trewellard as the birth Place in St Just in Penwith where she was born.
