About Chelsea Allie-May Aiken

The daughter of Raymond Sr. and Ellen Caimi Aiken of Grangeville, Chelsea was born Nov. 22, 1989, in Helena, Mont. She passed away Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, in Bozeman, Mont., with her family by her side.

Chelsea graduated from Grangeville High School in 2008. She enjoyed dance, volleyball and basketball. She also was a member of the choir; she had a beautiful singing voice.

She had a love of horses and participated in many local rodeos and was a member of Central Idaho Rodeo Association (CIRA). Her love of rodeo earned her the title of rodeo royalty for several different organizations. She enjoyed riding her horse in the backcountry with her dad. She had a love of the outdoors that included hiking, camping and four-wheeling.

Chelsea is survived by her parents, Raymond Sr. and Ellen Caimi Aiken of Grangeville; sisters Amy (Jeff) Farris of Grangeville, Samantha (Chris) Bigham of Belgrade, Mont., Mishaela, Miranda and Alyssa Prado of Grangeville, and Echo Bruce of Oregon; brothers Raymond (Jennifer) Aiken of Grangeville, Ryan (Michelle) of Lewiston, Steven (Amber) Aiken of Finley, Wash., Shane Bohn of Lewiston, and Trever Knight of Grangeville; nieces and nephews Micaela, Macenzie Farris, Dani, Reed, Zane, Luke Aiken, all of Grangeville; Elise and Jordis Aiken of Lewiston; Kayden and Hailee Aiken of Finley, Wash.; and Austin and Fynn Bigham of Belgrade, Mont.; grandparents Doris June Parker, Alta and John Clark of Grangeville; Peter and Nicole Caimi of Las Vegas; Robert Aiken of Council, Idaho; many cousins aunts and uncles; and birth parents Marciano Prado Jr. and Cheryle Bruce-Murray.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Peter and Mary Ellen Caimi, Arthur and Gwen Cochran, Chester and Ruth Prall, and Ronald and Ethel Aiken. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Grangeville Eagles Lodge with a covered-dish dinner to follow. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
