Chessah (Jessie) Freeman

Daj. Dec 2020. The estimated dates of births for Jessie, her presumed father Leyba and his brothers Falko et al and her own children would suggest that perhaps Jessie was actually the sister of Leyba and Falko rather than Leyba's daughter.

GS. Dec. 2023. It is also more likely that this "Chessah" was a sister of Leyba and Falk,or perhaps a cousin, because Chesse, the daughter of Falk, was born on March 18, 1881, in Shkud, Lithuania, married Ivan Grodzensky, and died in Milan, Italy, November 19, 1951. Chesse, known as Xenia, has descendants who are not of the Freeman family and who are familiar with her life history, including her granddaughter Xenia who is named after her.
