About Pewanakum Ogichidaa
Chief Pewanakum was a Signatory Signer for all Chippewas at the 1789 Treaty at Fort Harmar in Ohio.

Was steward of Ojibwe Trading Settlement west of the Franklin Park Settlement (Toledo Ohio/Temperance Ohio) from 1790-his death in 1809. He fought in the Battle of Fallen Timbers with his cousin Chief Mishikinakwa "Little Turtle" in the 1790's. Operated the Pembina/Ojibwe trading village located 3 miles northeast of the Franklin Park Settlement, 3-miles south of Indian creek and 3 miles west of Mishkiman camp at the mouth of Halfway Creek.
