Reb Chonon Halevi Levin from Ukraine and France, stemming from generations of Chabad Chassidim, fought against the Nazis in Stalingrad and against the Finns in Finland. Chonon Levin braved not just the battles of war, but also tremendous spiritual battles against the Communist regime and the tough commanders of the Red Army.
