Christiaan "Chris" Jacob Homan (1980 - 2006)

Brief overview:

Chris (26), a security guard for Pro Group Security, was shot in the head after collecting cash at the Cooperative North-West Zeerust branch on 3rd July 2006.

Chris's colleague, Jaco Myburg, was waiting in the van when a car with four armed robbers sped up to the building while Chris was exiting with the money. Police spokesperson Bontle Diphoko said the robbers sped away and crashed the vehicle several times along the road.

At one point, they apparently also shot at a local businessman who were chasing them. They were last spotted in Swartruggens.
