About Christian Bertram
Hedley proves Christine did not marry Robert de Roos (died 1269), of Wark, but, rather his son and heir, William de Roos, who died in his father's lifetime. This corrects Complete Peerage under both Bertram and Roos.
Note also: Magna Charta Sureties, line 118-2, has Christian Bertram, wife of Robert de Ros, as daughter of Roger & Ida. This is obviously a mistake - as Christian is daughter of Roger & Agnes. 642,4083
notes
He [Robert de Ros] married, (? 2ndly), Christine, daughter of . . . BERTRAM, and sister and in her issue coheir of Roger BERTRAM. He was presumably living at Michaelmas 1269, and died probably before November following. His widow married Robert de Penbury; their son Ellis was her heir. [Complete Peerage XI:119-20, (transcribed by Dave Utzinger)]
Note: CP II:126 states that Christine married 1stly Mr. de Penbury, and 2ndly Robert de Ros.
