Christian Brodersen appeared on the scene, dressed in two large wooden shoes, the indispensable glasses on his nose, and a large Cameroon hat on his head. His beard, sometimes covered with rime, looked quite romantic. Apart from his murderous shotgun, the beast could get a slight creep at his sight.
