28 February 1562-63: Contract between John Creichtoun of Ryhill, tutor of Sanchar, and CHRISTINE DALZELL, relict of John Somervell of Camnethane, now his spouse, on one part, and Bessie Inglis and James Moffet, her spouse, on other part, whereby said John and Christine are to enter said Bessie and James to peaceable possession of steading of Newmains in barony of Carnweth, sheriffdom of Lanerk, from which deceased Janet Kello, mother of said Bessie, was forcibly removed.
