This Christian Gehman was married to Barbara (Kurtz) and they were the parents of 6 children, 2 of whom are also buried in this cemetery; Benjamin Gehamn 1802-1882 & Samuel Gehman 1825-1844. The addtional children were; Elizabeth Gehman 1806-1884, Fianna 'Fanny' Gehman 1815/17-?, Sarah Elizabeth Gehman 1819-1900, & Elias Gehman abt 1825-1844,

Since posting the original info above I have been contacted by LeRoy Wilcox due to his generosity in sharing the following information much more insight is added for all Gehman researchers.

"An old history of the Gehman family states that he was born on August 20, 1775 and became the father of 13 children. He was ordained to the ministry in 1817 but continued to work as a wheelright. You have his death date. He married Barbara Kurtz, daughter of Peter and Esther (Lapp) Kurtz of ther Pequea Valley. She was born on 02/26/1784 and died on 10/08/1859."
