In Vine Street Cemetery records, 'O. G. Hendersheid' paid $10 cash for care of lot #1117.5. There are two 'ditto' records under that one for $5 each. Entry was recorded on August 17, 1891, the day after son Christian Leroy died.

"Henderschedt-Michael"
Mr. Christian Henderschedt was married to Miss Annie Michael, last Saturday evening, by Rev. A. Noll. The ceremony took place in the presence of the relatives of the contracting parties, at their future residence on North Locust street, which the groom had previously furnished. We congratulate the happy couple and wish them a happy voyage through life.

Hazleton Plain Speaker, Thursday, September 20, 1934:
"Christ Hendersched"
Christ Hendersched, of 358 West Broad street, ill the past year and bedfast the last 11 months, died at 11:45 this morning. He was born in Cranberry but lived practically all his life in this city. He was a member of Christ Lutheran church and followed the occupation of carpenter up until he retired from active service some years ago. Surviving him are his wife and the following children: Mrs. John A. Derr, Harry, Oscar, Mrs. Edward Dunn and John Hendersched, all of Hazleton and Kathryn, Maude and Thelma Hendersched of New York City. No arrangements have yet been made for the funeral.

The funeral of Christian Henderschedt, of 358 West Broad street took place yesterday. Services were conducted by Rev. H. Clay Bergstresser, pastor of the Hazleton Trinity Lutheran church, at the house at 2 o'clock. The pallbearers were: Joseph B. Curran, Jack Forgage and members of the Carpenters' Union of this city.
