About Christiana Cowan (Bradley)
This remarkable woman raised a family of twelve children in a small log house which was located on the east side of the Carp River not far from the modern-day intersection of Huntmar Road and Richardson Road. She lived for just shy of 101 years, and has hundreds of descendents both in the Ottawa area and scattered across the continent.
